Jazz Camp 2008 is our 7th year, and it keeps getting better. Jazz Camp starts Wednesday July 16th and runs through Sunday July 20th. This year we have added a new Jazz Camp event: a kick-off Faculty Concert at Miners Foundry on Tuesday evening, July 15th. Tuition includes 2 tickets to the Faculty Concert and two tickets to the Student Concert on Sunday July 20th. You'll learn from wonderful, experienced musicians in an atmosphere of creative learning, relaxed comraderie, and sympathetic communication. Previous students had great time and learned so much:

Bill Douglass is the Artistic Director, and sets the tone for camp: taking musical risks, having fun, deep listening, and developing a wonderful sense of community over the five days.
Classes will be held at The Nevada City School of the Arts and the concerts will be held a t the Miner's Foundry in Nevada City. Instrumentalists and vocalists of all ages and levels are welcome. To register click

Costs:
Five days of jazz camp - $450. Deposit of $150 and completed registration form will confirm your place in camp. Balance of $300 is due by June 1. To register after June 1st requires full payment of tuition.
Refund less $25 for processing fee until June 15. No refunds after June 15.

Daily lunch is included. Last year's lunch was delicious!
